The Huawei OceanProtect X3000 is a model in the OceanProtect backup all-in-one machine series, designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as remote/branch offices, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and ease of use.
This device adopts an integrated architecture, integrating backup management software, servers, and storage resources, supporting native format backup and multi stream concurrent technology, and can efficiently handle backup and recovery tasks for PB level data clusters.
Its core technologies include permanent incremental backup based on ROW technology, which can achieve second level synthesis of full replicas, as well as source side and link re deletion technologies, which can save up to 98% of replication network bandwidth.
The data reduction ratio can reach 72:1, significantly reducing storage space and transmission overhead.
In terms of security, OceanProtect X3000 provides a WORM file system to prevent data tampering, supports ransomware detection and data anonymization strategies, and achieves physical isolation of data replicas through Air Gap replication.
The hardware architecture adopts a dual control A-A design to ensure high availability, while supporting redundancy protection mechanisms such as RAID-6.
The device is in the form of a 2U rack, with a compact size of 488mm × 447mm × 86.1mm, making it easy to deploy.
The front-end interface includes 10/25GbE Ethernet and 8/16/32Gbit/s FC options to meet different network environment requirements
